Fish & Game Testing Expanded Property Access at School Hill

Manitowoc County Fish & Game owns and manages over 450 acres of property around Manitowoc County.  This property is always available to the public and serves a variety of needs, from hunting to simple hiking and bird watching.  The 2024 Community Study showed the importance of these properties and the public having access to public land for hiking, biking and other recreational needs.  As a test case, the organization is cutting trail access into its property at School Hill in the southern part of the county.  The goal is to make the parcel more accessible and usable for a variety of purposes.  This may be the first in a full review of related properties and their access and use.  If you visit, drop us a note and let us know your thoughts.
