Winners of the Top 5 Firearms at Banquet
Manitowoc County Fish & Game Prot. Assn. held their 44th Annual Sportsman’s Banquet on October 24th at City Limits. The organization wishes to thank all the donors and supporters of the banquet for their contributions and hard work to make this a successful banquet. All proceeds from this banquet will go towards conservation projects in Manitowoc County.

PRESIDENT SELECT PRIZE was a Weatherby Orion O/U 20 ga donated by Just Orthodontics won by Robert Krause
VICE PRESIDENT SELECT PRIZE was a Stevens 555 O/U 16 ga donated by Lakeshore Family Funeral Homes won by Richard Lutze

MCFG Completes Major Study in Manitowoc County
Leede Research and Manitowoc County Fish & Game announce the completion of the Manitowoc County Conservation Study. 301 respondents completed online surveys addressing Conservation and Sporting Club issues in the area. This study was donated by Leede Research and is designed to address the future of Manitowoc County to continue the 115+ year heritage of conservation work in the area.

Manitowoc County annual launch pass can be purchased for $20 for residents and non-residents and sent to: Manitowoc County Planning & Zoning, P O Box 935, Manitowoc, WI 54221-0935. A window sticker will be mailed to you.
MEMORIAL PARK DIRECTIONS
Depending on the direction you are coming from, you will need to be on County Road C (which runs East and West from I-43 to State Highway 67). Take County Road C to Pigeon Lake Road and go South on the Road to Newton Road.
Pigeon Lake Road is East of St. Nazianz and East of Sinawa Road. On the corner of Pigeon Lake Road, and County Road C, is a Storage Unit Building, so turn there.
Once you turn onto Newton Road going East the address is 14107 Newton Road, you will see the Memorial Park sign. Check out the names placed in the memorial.
Manitowoc County Fish & Game Thanks Van Horn CDJR for Their Donation!
Michael (Platform Director) from Van Horn CDJR in Manitowoc and Dan (employee who suggested the Manitowoc County Fish & Game receive a $500 donation). Conservation in Manitowoc County is at an important crossroads. The majority of the 25 clubs that make up Manitowoc County Fish & Game Protective Association as experiencing the same issue, DECLINING MEMBERSHIP! This has been the pattern consistently since the pandemic and it literally threatens the long-term future of conservation in Manitowoc County.
We need EVERYONE to not only renew their membership to their preferred organization, but to sign up a friend or relative in 2024. It is particularly important that we engage younger people in the area so that the next generation of leaders are brought into our clubs. If you are not a member of an area club please consider joining. You can learn about all 25 of them on this site. Numbers are important as they create club support, but also give our organization critical mass and pollical clout to get things done.

Manitowoc County Fish & Game is in the process of establishing a Memorial Park to recognize deceased members of Fish & Game both men and women who during their life time help support the mission and the legacy of the organization in the county.

For over 115 years one organization has protected the resources of Manitowoc County and represented the rights of sporting men and women. Founded in 1907 Manitowoc County Fish and Game Protective Association continues to fulfill its mission of “Conservation and Education Today for Tomorrow’s Sportsman.” The organization is recognized as one of the oldest conservation organizations in the U.S. and has been a model for groups across the country. Many individual clubs work together to make Manitowoc County the special place that it is for hunting and fishing. Manitowoc County Fish and Game has lived out their mission through:
- Development and Maintenance of Public Access to 19 County Lakes and Lake Michigan
- Maintenance & Replacement of Piers
- Improvement to Handicap Access
- Support for Lake Improvement Projects
- Purchase of nearly 450 acres of Land for Public Use and Access
- Close Working Relationship with the DNR, Conservation Congress, National Sporting Clubs, State and Local Governments and more
- Support of Youth Programs & Education

- Youth Scholarships
- Youth Shooting & Junior Riffle Programs
- Youth Archery Programs
- Support of Youth Fishing Events and Mentoring
- Major Supporter of the FORWARD Endowment
